What you need
A roof against rain, benches for everyone, cold drinks and a patio heater for the late evening — the four things that separate a garden party from standing in the rain.
How to go about it
- Settle the guest count: eight people per beer garden set, one keg per dispenser for about 50 drinks.
- Put the tent up the day before with two people, place the benches, plug in the fridge and pre-cool overnight.
- Collect keg and CO₂ from the drinks wholesaler, connect the dispenser one to two hours ahead.
- Light the patio heater only after dark; return everything dry the next day.
Two to three days: set-up the day before, the party, return the day after.

Rent or buy?
A party tent and a beer dispenser are needed once a year and need a cellar room the rest of it. Both sit in many Munich cellars regardless — which is exactly why they are here to borrow.
What matters
Tents need two people to put up and ground that holds pegs. Keg and CO₂ for the dispenser come from the drinks wholesaler. Collect everything the day before and return it the day after — owners are used to it.
